Formara in the fight against COVID-19.

Over the past twenty years, Formara have built an enviable reputation with market research company Ipsos Mori. We have played an important role in delivering high profile, complex projects reliably and accurately whilst meeting strict deadlines for delivery.

In April 2020, they asked us to help develop and deliver a solution for distributing Covid-19 test kits as part of the Government’s REACT study into the prevalence of the pandemic in England. This was a fast-moving project with an entire supply chain, process and product being built in just a couple of weeks.

Formara were tasked with printing Instruction Manuals, FAQ leaflets, generic letters and personalised, barcoded labels together with matching returns barcode labels. The printed components were fulfilled in jiffy bags with test kits, returns boxes and security labels which were managed through the supply chain.

Each step of the print and fulfilment was carefully checked to ensure quality before the Royal Mail’s daily collections of completed packs.

All this was possible due to Formara’s experience and ISO certifications for Quality and Information Security. We had the resource and expertise to get things moving quickly. Ultimately, the project scaled up to turn 2 million individual components into 230,000 personalised test kits per month, each mailed directly to the individual participants of the study.

As of December 2020, we have printed, packed, fulfilled and dispatched 2.4 million test kits to households across England.
