There really isn't an "I" in "team". We've looked but can't find one!


Everyone at Formara has a part to play and does it to the very best of our ability. Although we are constantly working together to provide the best for you, we are also individuals offering something unique to life at Formara.

We'd like to introduce you to some of the guys and girls here at Formara with our '60 second interview'.

Chris Tubb
Formara’s email convention is Firstname and Initial of surname @formara. When Chris joined we decided to break convention as we thought christ@formara was a bit presumptuous. He’s been breaking convention at Formara since 2011!

What is something you will NEVER do again?

Eat Sardines

What do you spend the most time thinking about?

Wood working.

If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?

Smile and laugh at least once a day.

What do you like most about your job?

I can walk here and the people are friendly and I get paid.

What is something that your friends would consider “so you”?

Crude and sarcastic.

In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in?

Public Speaking.

Steve Leggitt
Steve recently re-joined Formara after a time working elsewhere. As you will see from his answers, the Customer Service Team’s very own Johnny Rotten hasn’t lost any of his mischief! 

Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
Piers Morgan so I could retire from public life never to be seen again.

What is your motto or personal mantra?
Hit it until it breaks or works.

What do you like most about your job?
Great ride to and from work - arrive happy, get home happy.

If you could change one thing about working here, what would it be?
Employ a person solely to make tea for us.

What are you currently working on?
I am currently answering these questions for ICYMI. Other times, I am part of the Customer Services team, managing client accounts.

What is on your wish list for your next five years?
Keep my head down until the heat’s off, then emigrate with my cut from Hatton Garden.

Duygu Tavan

Duygu ["Dee" to her colleagues] has joined Formara recently as our Digital Marketing Executive. A German national with Turkish parents, Dee has a history in journalism and marketing - she loves writing stuff!

Creative - Diverse - Analytical

Hunter S. Thompson or my dad

What was your childhood nickname?

Dodo [ like the bird!]

Do you have any strange phobias?

I am terrified of butterflies, moths and all kinds of fish and sea mammals - anything from goldfish to dolphins and whales. BTW, being scared of butterflies and moths is a real phobia with an actual name - Lepidopterophobia!

What are 3 things still on your bucket list?

1 - Get a dog

2 - Visit the Caucasus

3 - Take my nan on holiday

Barry Farmer

Barry is our Customer Service Team Manager and has a wealth of knowledge within the print industry. He joined Formara on his birthday, 8th May 2005 and took the reigns as manager of the Customer Service Team in 2012.


Before working at Formara, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

Working on the floor of the Stock Exchange
