Founders Forum is a global network of the world’s most inspirational founders, global leaders, senior investors and disruptive rising stars, brought together to share ideas and discuss the profound impact of technology on society.

Each year Founders Forum arrange multiple networking events around the world. Since 2017 Formara has worked closely with FF on various projects including the production of the event guest books which includes a who's who directory of the delegates.

After an enforced break during 2020 due to the Covid pandemic, the Founders Forum London event took place in June 2021. Salesforce has teamed up with FF to manage online registration for these events. The registration process includes each delegate writing a short biography and providing a recent headshot.

Formara's task is to take all the registration data and images, which is held on a secure cloud platform, to design, build and print the popular guest book. We create the content and pages using a semi-automated, data-driven process and incorporate a selection of advert pages throughout the publication. This process is repeated several times to ensure the accuracy of the data pulls and content prior to digitally printing the book.

On approval of the final document and whilst printing is underway, Formara also produces an interactive PDF version which Founders use within their event app and an online version of the guest book via Adobe Creative Cloud.

Ensuring data is kept securely and safely is a key consideration for Founders Forum when choosing partners to work with. Formara have continually demonstrated exceptional information security as part of our ongoing commitment to all our customers through IS27001.

Founders Forum are continually looking at ways to reduce their impact on the environment, so the final printed books are produced on 100% recycled paper and, of course, Formara offsets our carbon footprint. These measures and reduced waste of digital printing are part of our commitment to the environment as part of our ISO14001 certification - a key fact in why FF wanted to partner with Formara.
